Beautiful, Colorful, Powerful...
Three words that describe what you will find within Cassandra Bazhaw's body of artwork.
Cassandra is a photographic artist who uses the camera as a tool to develop scenes much like a artist uses a paintbrush. The most often recurring trait that can be found in all her works is a balance of softness combined with a touch of power that surrounds the detail and story of her images. She has had numerous articles written about her work and has had artwork displayed in a variety of art shows and galleries including the Brownsville Museum of Fine Art.
She is a member of the Upper Valley Art League in Mission, The Edinburg Arts Foundation in Edinburg, and the current President of the Laguna Madre Art League in Port Isabel, Texas.
